Some highlights:

“When I say that 'The climate crisis is a black and white issue', We need to stop the emissions of greenhouse gases', and 'I want you to panic.' But that I only say because it's true. Yes, the climate crisis is the most complex issue that we have ever faced and it's going to take everything from our part to stop it'. But the solution is black and white: we need to stop the emissions of greenhouse gases.” - I’m Too Young to Do This, 2019

“The climate crisis is both the easiest and the hardest issue we have ever faced. The easiest because we know what we must do. We must stop the emissions of greenhouse gases.
The hardest because our current economics are still totally dependent on burning fossil fuels, and thereby destroying ecosystems in order to create everlasting economic growth.” - Can You Hear Me?, 2019

I agree with Greta that things need to change and they need to change now if we want a habitable planet to live on in the future, but I don't agree with the black and white lens she looks at our world through. There are so many other factors that have to be looked at and let's face it, change doesn't happen overnight.

This book was interesting and a powerful read until about halfway through when I realized all her speeches were nearly mirror-image of each other. I realize she needs to get the same points across, but there needs to be more.

Keep speaking Greta and more will take notice and take action.

This was a bit repetitive but I think it worked well to hammer in its message.
