"Those who have abandoned their own truths just stop thinking altogether. They sink into a childlike delusion that some great general oozing with confidence with solve everything for them."

Tiger the cat is back with another adventure in The Cat Who Saved the Library.

13 year old Nanami spends a lot her time reading at the local library due to the fact her severe asthma keeps her away from a lot of the same activities as her peers. On one of her regular visits she begins noticing that there are books missing from the library's shelves. The librarian doesn't believe her, but Tiger the cat does.

Like the first installment in this series, Nanami faces different trials in order to save the books and bring them back to the library. While facing these trials she learns how resilient and strong she is despite being told her asthma is a hindrance to herself and those around her.

I enjoyed that this novel discussed the power that books hold and how important they are to our lives. There is so much love writing into these pages and you felt how much books mean to the author.

This just didn’t have the same magic as before - this time we follow a young girl who has noticed books going missing and it all just fell away from me this time! I just massively preferred how the first one took small adventures and this was one big adventure that was just a little silly by the end.
