I knew I would enjoy this book based off the premise but I didn’t realise how much it would hurt me.
I loved the way it was written. We have chapters that alternate between the present, Wales 2022, and the past. Reading the alternating timelines of how Evelyn and Arden have lived and loved brings the story together in a way that made me feel like I lived those lives too.
This is one of those books where you want to tell everyone about it so that they can read it too but you also want to tell no one and keep it all to yourself.

After reading the blurb for Our Infinite Fates by Laura Stevens, I was hooked. The reincarnation? The love spanning centuries? Yes and Yes. But man I was not ready for such a beautiful book.
This entire book was wrought with love, heartbreak, suffering, family, and sacrifice. I was hooked from beginning to end. As the reader, I felt every emotion with the characters and was just feeling all the things.
I loved each and every peek into Evelyn and Arden’s lives. It was like being let into the secret through each chapter, knowing I knew more than Evelyn about her own history was just turmoil. And getting to read what her and Arden experienced in the different lives was like being able to understand why and how they continued lives this way but also not truly getting it.
Evelyn so desperately clinging to her love for her family and her life each life was just ugh, so good. And Arden, remembering it all and still killing her each cycle. It felt so raw!
This life cycle though, Bran and her love for her mother and sister was again just so heartbreaking. With all her hopes being held on the fact that Arden could just give her a chance to save her sister 🫣 and then finding Arden and how he fits in her life already was just so good.
I loved Laura Steven’s absolutely beautiful ability to capture these different times in history and tell just a snippet of these iterations of their lives. It was like nothing by else I’ve read before. Don’t get me started on the reveal of how this cycle started. I cried, like a baby.
The ending felt just right and I think the book was just, again, one of those beautiful books that really make you feel things and feel love. Would absolutely recommend this book and am so glad I got to read it.

Well, I finished it one day.. so that's saying a lot!
This really did feel like "what if Addie LaRue loved Luc".. in the best sort of way.
Seeing them overcome everything, time and time again, to find each other was heartbreaking. With each life you get a better glimpse of their story, and the depth of time they are dealing with.
"Bravery is picking up the fear and carrying it alongside you, rather than allowing it to block the path."
Around 55% of the way through I felt it was getting a bit repetitive, but it picked up again around 75%.. then it was a speed run to the end.
So, the only thing I wish was different was if we skipped some of that section, and spent more time on the ending.
Overall, their relationship is great and Evelyn's relationships with her family members are beautiful too.
This one will probably stick with me.

This is billed as an epic tale that spans the ages, and while semi true you only get brief snippets of the ages. It felt hard to connect to the characters because none of the flashbacks felt well thought out, while the present felt rushed and frantic. They are written as though they are mature for their 17 year old selves because they’ve lived through centuries and remember it, yet somehow it constantly felt like immature teenagers.
The twists felt as though they fit the story yet seemingly predictable and had no real shock value in them. The ending once again felt predictable at best and extremely rushed.
There is a spice scene which felt wholly unnecessary considering the fact that these are 17 year olds and not consenting adults despite having memories from previous reincarnations.
This truly felt like an off brand Invisible Life of Addie LaRue and in comparison a poorly done version. If you are looking for a quick stand-alone fantasy this may satisfy, but if you are looking for an epic love story I would personally suggest looking elsewhere.
Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this arc in exchange for an honest review.

I have enjoyed following Arden and Evelyn through their lives and their current life in Wales. It’s been a very interesting love story and I spent the whole time trying to figure out why they kept being reincarnated and brought back together.
There were tears, and I was swooning over the writing which is absolutely stunning. I have so many tabs and there’s passages highlighted and underlined.
I have the final copy on order and I cannot wait to see the end copy as well. But I think anyone who loves an enduring love story will adore Evelyn and Arden.
