DID NOT FINISH: 23%

She sounds so young. She’s about to turn 18, and she’s lived so many lives. I just don’t believe it. I would have thought this book felt young if it was a standard contemporary, let alone a fantasy about a woman caught in an endless cycle of reincarnation

This one took me QUITE sometime to finish, but it was worth it in the end. The writing about love in this book truly gives me hope that LOVE conquers all and is more powerful than anything. I do feel like the ending was a bit rushed, and it was kind of out of left field. If you love.. love you’ll love this book. hahaha

Oh, to be a devil that runs a pyramid scheme <3

This book has a really interesting premise that I’m not convinced it 100% delivered on. I think it could have really benefited from becoming a two-part series at minimum to balance out the plot with the romance. The book spends a long time telling us that they’re so in love, but doesn’t spend nearly as much time to explain why to warrant all the drama surrounding them. Just because you keep shouting in my ear that two characters are soulmates, doesn’t mean I’m going to believe you. This is supposedly a cosmically bound love story that spans lifetimes, but in reality it’s not a better love story than Twilight.

That aside, the pacing of the story is really odd and the last 20% was really jarring. What do you mean everything is resolved in like 20 pages when the book is 300+ pages?

Overall a decent book, but nothing spectacular.

Two people, their lives entwined over thousands of years. Soulmates or forced together by fate? If this is love, why must they kill each other before their 18th birthday's each time they start their new life? In this current life, in 2022 Evelyn must save her sister before her time runs out - but will Arden let it happen?

Our Infinite Fates contained everything I love, beautiful writing (not overly written but still rich and gorgeous), a plot that kept me guessing and turning the pages as quickly as possible, and a romance fuelled with yearning over their forbidden desires.

If you liked Addie La Ru or Divine Rivals, I would definitely recommend this one. Although if you are looking for a full romantasy/fantasy plot, please change your expectations because this is definitely not that. A character driven love story full of mystery and tense moments is what you will find here - and I loved every second.

Thoroughly disappointed by the ending. Dragged on too long just for the end to feel extremely rushed.
