i love that ryuk needs an apple like a human might need a cigarette lol
- I just devoured the first 2 volumes in this series today!
- We finally get to meet L in this one, but I'm a little disappointed. I wanted him to look cooler and less...crazed.
- There are no bounds to Light's murders! At first it was just criminals, now he doesn't even think about it before he kills someone.
- We get to learn more about a new character in this one. I think she is going to be important!
- I like the way L thinks.
- *spoiler alert* NAOMI IS ALIVE!! She has to be! There was no body, and I think she is still alive!!
- L and his team are closing in on Light! What is he going to do? He has to mess up sometime!
- It is like following a good mystery, but you know whats going on. It is still gripping though.

i am so romanticly in love with L , he is my boyfriend, we are meant to be together
Quickly falling in love with the fast pace -- it's crazy how quickly L works. And there's only twelve books in the series! Onward to #3
A good addition to the first volume of Death Note. It's a very interesting concept, but one I'm certain that many others have written about. It is disappointing that Naomi was written out, though. That would have been something to hang on to and follow. I'm not the type of person to go and presume, though, that this is due to misogyny or what have you.
Having seen most of the movie I know how this part of the manga is going, but it's nice to see the original copy.
