Surprisingly even better than the first book. Creepy. And being in the head of the bad guy isn't all that much fun. Is this high art? No. But tight and interesting. And smart. And twisty. And still with good art. And I don't see how it could be stretched to so many volumes, but I guess I'll see. I guess so far I chalk this up to a win for reading the most popular stuff. Something has to offset Fruits Basket.
