I could have fought Adara for her attitude in the first half of the book. The cliffhanger in the 1st book got me to read this book. The cliffhanger at the end of this book had me reading the third book immediately! Love the magical system and I love the vampire community. Fun read!
Who doesn’t love vampires and magic! I went through this series so fast couldn’t put it down .. kept reading to know what comes next .. I was on book 3 within one week .

Loved the spice in this one. Evren is so intense and possessive and I love it. The confusion Adara has is a bit much and goes on for a little too long, it was annoying. I loved getting to know Sorin and Thalia, and I hope we get more of them. Gavril is still a real shit stain and I hope we see him die by half way through the next book, and I hope Thalia gets to do it. I’m a bit confused about Adara’s father and how all that worked out. I hope the next book is a little smoother, but I still enjoyed this one.
Let me guess? More sex, predictable, and completely and utterly silly. This is ridiculous, but some how the over use of the words “mate,” “mind blowing,” “nub,” and “confused” (and let’s be clear, that girl clearly doesn’t know what the definition of confused is) kept me laughing.
