This book is a great installment in this series, one of the best books I will say. It makes clear the tragic fall of Darkstalker. Honestly, there are few words that I can say about this, because this is THAT good.

This book just absolutely broke me. It was the telling of a story were quite familiar with, but more in-depth with good character development. We get to see the character's motives and how they cause a chain reaction to the events that have lasting effects on the present day. It was a terrific well-written book full of romance, suspense, action, and character development. Anyone who reads this book is sure to cry for a long time afterwards

4.5 stars. Best one of the series, and a fantastic prequel. Bonus for time travel-ish (looking into possible future timelines) content, I eat that up.
