Não dei 5 estrelas pq achei meio fraco o enemies to lovers... mas muito fofo mesmo assim, foi mt bom pra tirar minha cabeça das coisas e só aproveitar uma história gostosa de ler.

3 stars. It was cute, unfortunately like a lot of Julia Quinn books it was sorta a rinse and repeat from her other historical romances. This was haters to lovers which is a well loved trope. Honestly if I hadn't read the Viscount who loved me right before, it would've been a better reading experience.

I decided to read this series even though some reviews had me feeling uncertain. I really liked Billie and George and I found their story as believable as any hate to love scenarios. It seemed like George and Billie had never spent time together before and suddenly were in one another’s company daily due to their families’ close friendships and Andrew’s return home. I thought their scheming mamas were the best and worked in a way that the Bridgerton family pulls off well.
