So I loved the book and thought it was a great finish to the whole Haunting/Hunting Adeline duet. I listened to the audiobook on audible and just didn’t like Cage’s narrations. They made him sound like a chain smoking, beer drinking old man, when in the story he’s is like 36/37 I believe. I would have liked to have a little more about Molly and Layla at the end. H.D Carlton is one of my favorites currently.

This could've and should've been a 5 star read. I just can't get past the lack of knowledge on how blood in a dead body actually behaves. Because bodies that are "already rotting" are not gonna be spurting blood everywhere. That is rot, not blood. Also, tf is the obsession with people fucking while being covered in other people's blood? Is everyone in these books immune to hepatitis?
The plot was great. I hated how it was written though. The back and forth between the present and the past and the past being written as though it was happening right then was irritating.
Cage is a better MMC than Zade ever was. Legion not stepping in to help Molly until after she'd already given Layla up is just upsetting. Overall though, Molly's story, like Sibby's, was 100% better than Adeline's.
Also, Cage's mother is my favorite lol

Absolutely loved this. Especially at the end where Adeline finally got to meet Molly!

UM WOW I loved this book! Not sure how anyone could top Zade for my dark romance book boyfriend but Cage really did it for me. His banter and dedication and respect for Molly is everything.
This is the best “second romance” book I’ve ever read! And that cliffhanger…. Oh my god!!!! What’s the working relationship w Zade going to entail?? Does Layla accept Molly??

There are heavy topics in this book. The plot is good and I love that this books ties into the Haunting Adeline duet.
Graphic: Sexual violence
Moderate: Sexual content
Sooo good! You need to read haunting Adeline and hunting Adaline first. Such a good short story about Molly and where she ends up. I’m so happy I read this!

I’m actually mad I put this book off for so long. Where’s Molly was the healing journey I wanted out of Hunting Adeline and never received (except maybe in that one chapter where she gets her revenge).
Her journey to regain her identity and her confidence is beautiful and enhanced by the fact that she didn’t need a man to do it! She was nearly healed before Cage ever came back into her life, he just helped put the final piece in place ❤️
“You can’t fix me”
“I don’t want to fix you, Molly. There’s nothing to mend when you’ve already done that yourself. The only thing I will do is ensure there isn’t a single part of you that is empty.”

Honestly this is a great addition to the series. It’s less dark than either of the first two but still definitely dark. The way this author writes is kind of fascinating, balancing between nearly having a magic system and being strictly real. If I went into details it would be spoilers, but highly recommend reading this if you’ve read the first two (well, I guess three if you count “Satan’s Affair”)
