I have always wanted to read this book ever since I put it on my shelf. There has been rave reviews from other bookworms about it, so when I finally picked it up I was excited.
This book is a slow burn romance, friends to lovers, pen pals & LGBTQ.
At the beginning of the book I was suspicious of Leon but eventually grown to love him. I love Tiffyβs style/personality that she kept showing throughout the book even in difficult times. I love Richie, Gerty, Mo & Rachelβ¦these four had me sniggering throughout the book.
Even though this book is about flatmates, their past stories are revealed causing difficulties and pain. There is an awareness of Emotional Abuse, that I thought was well written and got you thinking of all people in the world that have been/are going through this. It shows how the friends react but also support them and sometimes stepping back to get them to decide/come to terms of things on their own.
The moments between Leon and Tiffy were cute from start to finish, but it picked up more after half way through the book.
Even though we had the lives of Leon & Tiffy to read about, we also get and insight of other characters too such as Richie, Mr Prior & Holly at the hospice and many other charactersβ¦but they all fit well with the main characters stories too. I love the emotional story of Mr Prior and his lover Mr John White that shows you should live in the moment and never leave things too late.
I did enjoy this story and found it cute, funny at times, inspirational and educational - on the terms of emotional abuse x
Moderate: Emotional abuse and Cancer

Leon and Tiffy were amazing and I absolutely loved them. They felt real and flawed and were adorable together. Leon is now one of my favourite heroes ever.
