Don't walk run to the book shop and buy this book

This book is everything I could have wanted and more. It is a must read. This book is perfection. I envy anyone who gets to read this for the first time.

The characters are perfect, they are so realistic and honest and human that when the book ends you feel like you've said goodbye to some friends. This book deals with difficult subjects so make sure you check the trigger warnings before you read this book.

To start with, Leon and Tiffy are cute. Their personalities, their interactions, et cetera, are CUTE. The other characters are bearable and some of them are actually likeable, even.

But, I feel like a lot of elements in the book were forced, from the moment why they shared flats, the subplots, and how the subplots connected to each others. Like some of them were there to add words on the book. Leon's parts were rather hard to get through (I get used to it after a while tho) and there's no point of it being written that way, like it didn't do anything to Leon's personality whatsoever, which is such a shame because I really liked the author's writing in general. On top of that, the climax(es?) were so underwhelming and a bit awkward, and it was the biggest letdown for me.

However I also can see why people love this book. It was still a light, cute read with explorations on serious topics (tho some didn't fit into the story well in my opinion), and it wrapped kind of nicely in the end.

After her boyfriend breaks off their on-again, off-again relationship, Tiffy is faced with the problem of finding cheap housing in London fast. When she sees an ad for a flatshare, aka sharing one bed on rotation with another person, she is hesitant but can't turn down the cheap rent. She finds herself living with Leon, a hospice nurse, who she never meets but communicates with via post-it notes. They develop a friendship, but could ever become any more than that?

I adored this book! It was such a joy to read! The dynamics of this book were so realistic, and it tackled so many societal and relationship issues people currently face. I really appreciated that aspect, and naturally the romance aspects as well! Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Cute read! While I love Tiffy and Leon, I feel like Richie stole the show. Ms. O’Leary I want to officially request a Richie novel please.

One of my top 3 reads is 2021! Cutest story, lovable cast of characters, and Tiffy and Leon's story is just heart-warming. Have been raving about this non-stop and is now my go-to book to give as gift since I finished it :)
