I liked the plot around her ex- it made it a more complex story as she processed that relationship and helped build tension and fitting since the world of 2022 was Gaslighting. Her PSTD and the way it was triggered were rather relatable. I'm annoyed that in every romance I read lately she's extra quirky in someway, often in the way she dresses and Tiffy might have been the most extreme of that.

This book was a really good read, and I enjoyed it.

💫It discusses topics like love, toxic relationship, emotional abuse, trauma, prison, stalking

💫I was able to sense characters emotions and also imagine scenes. It made me blush, smile, angry and laugh.

💫 Very easy read

💫  As a reader, I went through Tiffys journey and development..it made me feel happy to see her boost of confidence and bravery.

📈 In the spicy chapters, it didn't go into detail about the interactions..which I'm not use to. But still enjoyed those parts as they made me blush.

To start with, Leon and Tiffy are cute. Their personalities, their interactions, et cetera, are CUTE. The other characters are bearable and some of them are actually likeable, even.

But, I feel like a lot of elements in the book were forced, from the moment why they shared flats, the subplots, and how the subplots connected to each others. Like some of them were there to add words on the book. Leon's parts were rather hard to get through (I get used to it after a while tho) and there's no point of it being written that way, like it didn't do anything to Leon's personality whatsoever, which is such a shame because I really liked the author's writing in general. On top of that, the climax(es?) were so underwhelming and a bit awkward, and it was the biggest letdown for me.

However I also can see why people love this book. It was still a light, cute read with explorations on serious topics (tho some didn't fit into the story well in my opinion), and it wrapped kind of nicely in the end.

This book is simultaneously exactly what I thought it would be and nothing like I thought it would be. The plot went exactly where I thought it would go but took a detour to gaslight, gatekeep, and girl boss; manipulate and mansplain (and a pit stop at prison).

Dual POV and one doesn’t use quotation marks to indicate a character is speaking but instead used : like a script would and that annoyed me.
