Really fun read but I don’t remember it more then that so I have to give it a 3. As I remember it, the story and action scenes were pretty nice but the characters maybe not developed enough to make me read more and remember them that much

I got the most important part of the book and had to give the book back.
I really enjoyed this. My mum actually saw this in our local bookshop and very kindly got it for me - I absolutely loved the game (Assassin's Creed: Syndicate) so was interested when I saw there was a book. It was a fun, entertaining read and it was interesting to learn abit more about some of the characters. If you enjoyed the game you would probably like this.

I probably would've enjoyed this book a lot more if I had read it one solid go, rather than dropping it for a couple of months by getting distracted before picking it up again to kill time on a five hour flight. But it was a fun time. I wish we'd spent more time in the plot of the game if that makes any sense? I loved learning about the man who will eventually become Henry Greene and Ethan Frye, a character I have no fondness for but understand why others would and why his twin children view him the way they do.
If we'd gotten to spend time with the plot more, maybe in a separate book if I'm honest, I would've liked an unbiased look at Jacob Frye, who both Evie and Henry have a hard time dealing with simply because he is seemingly their polar opposite, and family in Evie's case.
I don't know, I love Jacob too much to take him at his sister's and her boyfriends word.
