Raunchy and explicit. None of the novellas in the series are remotely healthy or good examples of realistic relationships. I don't imagine any of the readers are looking for couples advice, however and the authors really do know how to write erotica. The stories are written with a shifting narrative point of view alternating between the main characters.
This is a smutty HEA with virgin bride and a lot of alpha chest thumping. It is as advertised, over the top smut with unprotected sex from start to finish.
Four stars if you're looking for smut and have enjoyed the other books in the authors' other series (breeders, for example)... probably 1 star if you're not looking for nonstop in your face (or other places) porn.
