I forgot how short and addictive mangas were. I need to get the other books of this series. As ASAP as possible (this reference to the one and only Michael Scott has nothing to do with this sweet yet tragic story, but I couldn't resist). Oh, and I'll also have to get some more tissues since this manga gave me ALL the feels.
I read the three volumes that are currently available in the U.S. even though I only listed the first. I didn't really like this manga cause the main guy is a bit of a jerk. I'm hoping that he gets over it in the next volume, but it doesn't seem likely. If not, I probably won't finish the series.

This manga series is incredibly important. I literally burst into tears after reading that last chapter. It deals with some very sensitive topics like suicide, depression, guilt, regret...but it throws in some incredibly important lessons. We don't get a parallel universe to try to change the future, so we have to make the most of those around us--we need to be kind to others and attentive and try to make the best decisions we can. We have to be brave so we can live a life that makes us happy, that we can look back upon without having a regret that will weigh us down...I struggle sometimes with guilt and sometimes I have trouble getting up the strength to keep living, even if that means that I have to leave my boyfriend, my friends, my family, behind...and just by reading this short little series, I already see life a little differently. I don't want to hurt others by dying, I don't want to be a regret for them. I also want to be brave and do the things that make me happy. I want to say kind things to others so their day can have some happiness. I feel like crying again now...but really--pick up this series. Just keep going. I am so happy I saw it randomly on tumblr and decided to look it up today.

Gostei muito da premissa da história e, como anda tudo a ler este manga, resolvi pegar para ver como era. Para já, estou a gostar das personagens e da amizade entre elas. O enredo é muito interessante e deixa-me com muita curiosidade para saber como é que tudo se vai desenrolar e acabar. Por outro lado, já me sinto muito tocada pela história e pressinto que vão rolar algumas lágrimas. Faz-me lembrar um pouco a minha adolescência, o que é muito bom.
