I love this series. I didn’t remember how much I loved it, but it’s so good! And the characters are great.

Nico my little emo boy coming through again and again in this one. Looking forward to him in the last book.

All around it’s a great set of characters that you become more and more attached to as the series progresses.

This book can do no wrong. It's funny, action-packed, heart-wrenching, and just absolutely amazing. Slayed the moment.

Ahhhhh!!!! This book! This book was sooo good. Definitely my favorite of the 4 I’ve read. The way the story continues to come together. The heartache. Ngl I did see the twists coming but shhh. I still pretended to be surprised. It was still exciting to see the way the twists came! The found powers and strength that came with this book. 🙌🏼 ughhhh but the whole thing with Annabeth and Percy… man… I got feelings about it.

"people are more difficult to work with than machines. and when you break a person, he can't be fixed."

"maybe it's okay to still be a kid sometimes."

"remember boy, that a kind act can sometimes be as powerful as a sword."

"sometimes small things can become very large indeed."

so much fun, so much tension, so many great characters and a few surprising plot twists!
as i already stated in my review of the previous book, i was really in the mood for this and ended up having a blast! it's really exciting to explore some old greek myths along with the characters which are very dear to my heart. especially as someone who knows fairly little about greek mythology, i loved getting to know more about old heroes while watching the protagonists find their own way through this world. it just makes me very excited and i want to scream about it to everyone i know, so i guess that pretty much sums up how i feel about it.
