IAIN!!!!! Oh what do I say about this book. *swoon* ok here is the thing, Pamela Clare is REALLY GOOD at writing believable characters that stay true to themselves and the people they care for. They don't waver. They aren't wishy-washy they don't waver in their core beliefs.
IAIN. IAIN. IAIN. I just can't tell you anything about this other than go READ this book. I am one luck girl that I just read this because book two is already out, and I started it already and I am now MORGAN MORGAN MORGAN. Not to mention that Defiant comes out in a monthish, so not long of a wait for CONNOR. Who. Seriously.
Big, muscly, dedicated, highlander heroes.
Read it.
I never rolled my eyes, I never threw my iPad, in fact I passed out with it in my arms every night, there was NO WTFckry, the cover is beautiful, LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

First Historical I have read in years - and I loved it!
I think I need to listen to this one as an audio book too - Can't imagine Iain's voice with Kaleo reading it.
