i bought this book as a companion to the first book. it contains cute illustrations on how to fold the clothes, how to tidy the kitchen, how to store make ups, etc. i found it hard to understand the folding system, for example, by just reading the instruction, like on the first book, ergo, the illustrations are what i aimed to have by buying this book.

A lovely companion to the first book. A lighter tone and spirit in this book. Very helpful in putting things away and reorganizing.

I still don't agree with the book thing. I'll keep the ones I haven't read yet. I'll get there.

This was a great reference for figuring out how to tidy and de-clutter spaces in my home. Recommend for anyone looking for tips/tricks and if you haven't seen Marie Kondo's show!

This book answered all the things the first one didn't, for me at least. I loved the specifics, like how to fold things (it makes all my clothes so small!) and the reason for doing things in a certain order. This book was incredibly motivating and I went back and re-read sections before I was even done.

There were some great practical tips for the Marie Kondo fans, including kitchen and bathroom specifics that I think help me understand the organizational choices she makes. The folding method isn't something I plan to adopt but I appreciated seeing it illustrated. I also enjoyed that she allows clients to "break the rules" in storing like items in places they are actually used, for example, the coat you are using near the front door, not in your closet with all your other costs. It made me relax and feel like if we were to continue with this method of simplifying, we would be able to tailor it to US.

Quick read.

While I might not be ready to do a full tidy as described in this book, I really appreciated the spiritually regarding our possessions. It will definitely make me reconsider many items in my life. It was great to read about “mono no aware” which is a term I haven’t heard since I studied film in college.
