I loved this book. It is really practical, the Method is explained in a very simple way with a lot of images, too.
I have previously used it and it was great. I will keep using it and I highly recommend to read this book.

I read her first book after seeing her Netflix series and then just had to pick up this one. It's an easy read, goes into some of what was covered in the first book so you won't be totally lost, and she goes into more details in this one on specific items. I felt she also made more connections in this book on how tidying affects your life in a spiritual way and pratcical advice on dealing with other people in your household. Many things rung true and opened my eyes. I wished though, that there was more of a high level step by step for someone who wants to put into practice. It may feel repetitive and wandering at times, but I'm glad I read it.

Estratti:

"Aumentare la sensibilità alla gioia"

"Quando una persona si lagna significa che ha ancora energia da vendere"

3 spiriti:
- Spirito dell'oggetto (materiale)
- Spirito di chi l'ha creato
- Spirito di chi lo usa

Inspirational! I have read a few books on organizing but this one was the most do-able. I was also someone who did my assignments on the day before they were due, and have tried multiple organizing methods only to quit within a few weeks. I really like the concepts, and the mindset she puts forward in this book. I hope they will help me with my efforts to tidy my apartment and open up my life.

Well-aimed at people who read the first book and who, maybe, did their clothes but then got sidetracked. (Like, um, me.) The focus here is less on discarding and more on storage and on joy--she gives advice on how to use items that spark joy but are not particularly "useful." This one also seems more accepting of individual priorities and quirks--very much the idea that if you're happy, then it must be right.

It's not for everyone, but I think more people than admit think about their possessions in emotional terms and for them her advice about thanking things for their service and discarding with respect may be really helpful.

FWIW I lined up my underwear from light to dark and she's right, it does look really nice that way!

I really like Marie Kondo and her tidying ways.

Overall, I thought this book was good. I don't agree with everything KonMari presents, but it did give me a kick in the pants to start tidying so I guess it did its job. Good diagrams too!
