Heartwarming story which touches on the issues in rural Ireland farms
I think I am not the audience for this book. I understand that mental health is a very important topic and great to see it in novels, and open the door to conversations, but not sure everyone needs to have an illness?
sad to start 2025 off with a dnf but if this didnt grip me in nearly 200 pages then its not the one for me!
wouldve been better as a claire keegan-esque short story imo

Sometimes a book knocks you flat on your back. This is one of them for me. 6/5 stars if that was possible. Maybe I need to be more stingy with my 5 stars so it means something.
