I listened to this as it was the One Dublin One Book for April 2024.
A young woman gets into Trinity College, and finds there is a wide gulf between her life on the farm at home and student life in Dublin. It doesn't sound much of a plot put that baldly, because this is really a story about stories.

First two thirds of this book were amazing, I was really hooked in and it was very beautifully put together. Around the Christmas time chapters the author just added way too many threads to the mix, none of which were satisfactorily explored or resolved. Would have been better to keep it simple, less is more, etc.
But the writing is really beautiful in parts and she holds a lot of promise as a writer.
