This is one of the better coming-of-age books I’ve read. It’s a charming story about a girl juggling two completely different parts of her life: one as a student at Trinity College, the other on a dairy farm where she lives with her mother and uncle. Her mother spends her days writing down her dreams, convinced they are the dreams of other people.

This book was so beautiful, sweet, uncomfortable, awkward, and warm. And a whole lot of other adjectives probably. Some of the reviews I saw are comparing it to Sally Rooney but the only similarities are that the two are Irish and good writers!
