I can't believe it's taken me so long to read this first book in what promise to be a great series. it's only because a friend recommended it to me that I picked it up. 
Poe and Tilly are an unlikely pairing but his grumpiness and her  quirky ways fit well together. 
It's dark, not for the faint hearted but a brilliant read.
