I just did not give an ounce of a shit while listening to this.
The Archer is no novel. It's more a collection of pithy and often inciteful advice and universal truths, but sandwiches between a fictional prologue and epilogue. Not to mention how short it is. It annoyed me that I felt I had been duped once I opened it, but it was beautifully written and poetic, as are most of Cuelho's works. It was wonderful for what it is, but a novel it is not.

I read this book and thought about all the advice I give as a father, teacher, and an adult who cares for others. So many things resonate and are timeless. They can be applied to any profession at any stage of life and are relevant to anyone who is open to them.

After a long time, I read a motivational fiction novel mainly known as a self-help book and I'm not disappointed at all. Rather I'm so impressed by this book. My words would lack if I were to tell you how deep this book is. I kept on adding my ideas for interpretation under every paragraph and it was just so magical and inspiring. A really good one and a must-read. It's a really short book and with the illustrations, it makes it more engaging and interesting to read. The writing style was immaculate and hats off to the author.
