Love the Taoistic and Buddhist influences! It’s always interesting to read how Paulo’s characters develop when they look inside, and for themselves in the wide world.

A nice book containing thoughtful ideas about how to live life.
It’s kinda what I expected from Paulo Coelho after reading The Alchemist. I liked the illustrations. A bit more plot would’ve been nice, because as he said himself “what I have told you might perhaps be words of inspiration, but they will make sense only if you experience them yourself.” Let me experience them through some plot? But I guess I’ll go live my life and experience them myself
Drivel.
I'm really glad it was short. And that I got it from the library rather than purchasing it. The Washington Post put it best "I have no idea what that arrow was aiming for, but somehow it seems to have impaled Jonathan Livingston Seagull."
It is worth enduring The Archer just so you can enjoy this critique fully https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/books/archer-coelho-book-review/2020/11/11/53bc1984-238d-11eb-a688-5298ad5d580a_story.html

Verrassend boekje.

I enjoyed this because it read like a big metaphor and the fact that I can apply it to different things.
