Loved this! The first 2 sections of the book were enthralling, with the careful historical accuracy about the Warsaw Ghetto. I never knew, for instance, about the bravery of the 93 girls (and I immediately looked it up, and it's true.)

At almost 300 pages, Book III began, updating the aftermath. Exciting as it was, it really stretched believability, so that detracted.

That said, I would recommend this to lovers of WWII and Holocaust historical fiction.

Loved this book. Dual time lines, historical fiction, WWII, Hollywood actress, post war antisemitism, and amazing leading lady. This author has become an automatic read for me, after reading her book Woman on Fire. This one didn’t disappoint.
