Such an interesting and unique way to tell a story and with such moody writing. I immediately didn't love the story, but after pondering on it for a few days, it's grown on me. The story isn't very long and doesn't spend a lot of time lingering on details and I think that may be why my immediate thoughts weren't so warm towards the book. But this is one where the atmosphere around the story is just immaculate.
Definitely would recommend reading this during the autumnal season for a peak reading experience.

This was alright, but even though the characters' genders and ages were changed, the parallels with Interview with the Vampire are difficult to ignore.
I picked this up because I thought it was a retelling of Dracula's three brides, and it isn't. Even though all of the characters are ostensibly bisexual, their relationships to each other felt very heteronormative.
