This wasn't terrible terrible, but it was pretty over the top. I skimmed a ton of the 2nd half. The book had so much potential.

This book started promising but honestly it was so boring. I felt like everything was rushed and then there wasn’t anything left for the rest of the book. I found myself thankful the book was free and I didn’t waste anything on it. I would rate it a .5 if I could.

This was quick...like there isn't another way to say it. Dru crashed in Sebastians life and from there they had tons of sex, the fell in love and then it was over. So not much there, what is there is this relationship between these brothers, while their volatile, it didn't seem fast. Each personality was thought out and the reader can definitely see the distinction between the 8 of them. I heard and saw them differently in my head, which is a feat. I mean they were all freakishly handsome, but that was alright too. I wanted to dive more into them, not necessarily Dru and Sebastian. Was it good, sure, but I just liked it, but not enough to dive into the next one. 3 stars

This book definitely could have used 200 more pages of development. I have no real connection to Sebastian or Dru. I felt more of a connection toward Xavier, Bax, and Zane than them. I just felt this book was rushed and I didn't get to fall in love and that they didn't really get to fall in love. It was all lust and then they were married. There were lots of funny and emotional moments and I can see this series getting better so it does get at 3/5 for me.

I’m not a prude, but I cannot stand the use of the word cunt. I think if any guy said that to me I’d be gone. With that said, it was an okay read. You get what you paid for and in my case nothing. I highly doubt I’ll read about the other brothers.

In all fairness, I did not expect much from this book. I've been a little jaded on the random books I've been finding lately but this story was, while a little contrived, both well written and fun. I will definitely be looking up, at the very least, the next book in the series.
