Reading is subjective and since this one has as high rating as it has, clearly it is a likable book. It just didn't work for me. I do not see my self as a prude or in any other way abashed when it comes so sex. But when the sex scenes actually bore me out, which is clearly suppose to be the highlight of the book, I just can't take it.

To be honest, the story around the sex-scenes is just weird. It started of good and I can understand the reaction when you find out that your fiance is sleeping with the bridesmaid on the day of the weeding. But it is the rest that irks me. It is the same thing in another cover. The Hero is an total asshole who suppose to be the most grownup and the oldest of 8 brothers. The heroin is suppose to be this strong, kick ass girl, no one piss on, and she does the complete opposite. It is to cheesy, to blah and to over the top for my taste. It is more like a porn-video, where the story is just to give you some time before the sex starts. But we all know that it is not the story that matters. As same as we know men do not read naked magazines "for the articles".

Maybe i'm greedy that way, but I do need more in the books I read. I need some real depth, some real character development, some real story and something that is believable if it is in the genre Contemporary Romance Erotic. I'm an emotional person and to find the erotic part of a book interesting or enjoyable, I need a connection to the characters or the story it self. Otherwise I just get bored.

Oh and one last thing. The books is written in a neck breaking speed. Everything that is happening, is happening in just three days. THREE DAYS! It is rushed and there is more introduction to the other 7 brothers, than the main characters actually talk to each other. It is like an introduction book on the next 7 character/books that will be released. And the explanation in the end! WHAT? I do not get it. How can that even be an alternative? It is just weird and wrong and not suitable. If I had any hope for a good ending, that totally trashed it for me.

So, No. Nop. Not happening! This is not a series for me to continue. The whole thing was just a bad experience. And if Wilders books are all like this, she is not an author for me.

 Where to begin??

Well 1st off, if I ever go to Alaska, I will be totally searching for my own BADD brother, especially Mr. Sebastian Badd!

I am ruined...like ruined in such a good way that seriously this book had me in all kinds of feels.

My cherries were  feeling sad, angsty, loving.  Author Jasinda Wilder took us to a new level of OMG in this new series.  It has tons of exciting twists and moments that will keep you entertained.

I never thought that reading the word F*ck said soo many times by mostly every character in this book would be such a hot turn on.  I love the word but gosh when it is coming out of the mouth of Sebastian to Dru...

Yep this book did me in good!  I mean without spoiling the book, I can say honestly that I read the best 2 1/2 chapters of my life this year!  The intensty of Dru & Sebastian together that came off those pages had me like ...

Just anexcellent read that I HIGHLY recommend you read.

I can't wait to read about the other brothers in the series.  They all caught my interest when introduced in this book!

Yes there are more of them.  7 others to be exact!

Bring it on Jasinda!

5 Cherries Popped

It was ok. I liked the heroine but I found most of the other brothers who weren't Sebastian (Bast) more interesting. I'll probably read them when they come out.

So I’m not usually into the stereotype romance these days, they all follow a pattern.. woman (usually trying to break out of the ladylike mood) meets super masculine hunk, they shouldn’t be together but suprise, that’s how it ends up. Loads of sex, the end. That’s what this book is too.. but I’m in love with the idea of the Badd brothers.

Corny name, whatever.

There’s something so wild and fierce about them, but they have a vulnerability too. I won’t be reading book 2 but I’m sure this book will tick someone’s boxes.

Jasinda, Jasinda, Jasinda. You are the queen of erotic romance. I couldn't put this down even though this says it took me four days to read when it was really two. Sebastian was hot as sin and I loved Dru. I loved that she could keep her own and could flip a Navy SEAL. She's not the dainty girl I've been reading in other romance novels. Now that I've experienced the Badd brothers, I will continue and oh god am I ready!

You've just found out that your fiancé is banging one of your bridesmaids literally minutes before you are about to walk down the aisle and say 'I do'. What should you do? You were together for four years and saw zero signs that things weren't right.

Oh, I know! Get fabulously drunk with your Dad's mates and then jump on a seaplane to anywhere, with nothing but the wedding dress you have on, your phone and your purse.

With no idea where the hell you are and no way of getting back to where you left, you take your sorry, drunk ass into the nearest bar and, well hellloooooooo.

Mr Sexy barman is the only one there and, did I mention he's sexy? Like the sexiest man you have ever seen? Yep. That's him. Must just be the booze still in your system, right? Nobody 'real' could possibly be this good looking and nice, could they?

He's got issues of his own though, and you have rocked up when his own world is about to change. Could it be the best decision you've ever made while angry and drunk, or will the hurt you are already feeling just get worse?

I just finished reading this 'Badd' boy, yeah I know, terrible pun. But I really did enjoy it. It's a quick, easy read, and not only has a strong, take-no-shit female lead in Dru Connolly, but also a hard, tattooed bar owner in Sebastian Badd.

Let's not even start on the fact that he has seven brothers. Ooft!
