OMG!!! They just get better and better!!! I love them so much their story was just so perfect. The struggle that they go through. The angst in this book was EVERYTHING. I have loved every single one of the Windsors couple but I think I have a new favorite. There was miscommunication and don't like that in books but Cat just knows how to take my heart break it and then put it back together.
I loved how he took her to his private island to work on their relationship and I just didn't want this book to end it had every one of my favorite tropes billionaire romance, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, second chance, groveling, arranged marriage, angst and a lot of spice.

This was steeped in romantic drama. I enjoyed the initial romance, it was sweet & the main guy was the thoughtful partner that throws you around in the bedroom. To be honest, when I saw how long it was, I knew there would be long, drawn-out drama, but the rest of the series had been good so I dove in. There were some parts that lagged, but I mostly just flew through it. The mid book breakup was heartbreaking. You could see what was going on, but the characters have to figure it out in their own time. There were, however, times I wanted to thump one of the mains on the back of the head.

Also, the epilogue spoils 2 other books coming up.

The read so far hasn’t been exciting as i expected, i feel like the whole enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers again plot line would’ve been delivered better if the author had a better story to it. And the repeated smut was annoying cause i thought they were meant to hate each other, the smut in this book is unbearably too much for people who should be hating each other and trying to figure out how they feel. I feel like all those smut scenes were just filler scenes, it felt like it was just there to make the book bulkier and hide her pretty much scanty story.
The book isn’t well executed and trust me it could have been a lot better. Still giving it a chance for character development so I’ll see it to the end.
