Round up to 3.5.

This felt incomplete and rushed, at only four issues. I liked the concept a lot, and would've liked more time to get to know the universe and this version of Buffy.

This is the Buffy epilogue/continuation I have been waiting for. Buffy, middle age, trying to reckon with her past and an unclear future after vampires have "won". So many good moments and a very obvious pathway forward.

I had a few quibbles: some of the fight artwork/panels were messy and hard to follow, and they could have let several plot points breathe a bit more.

However, for as short as it was it packed an emotional wallop. Especially if you, like me, have been disappointed in the previous comic book attempts at continuing Buffy's story.

Set in an alternate post-apocalyptic universe where vampires are allowed to walk freely and Buffy is 50. She's the last Slayer, but isn't allowed to do any slaying and a child turns up claiming to be a new Slayer. Sardonic, sarcastic and full of cutting one-liners, this was a brilliant version of Buffy that delivered on every page. This was a depressing story but also one of hope as well. This was excellent.
