Not as fun and lighthearted as the film, which I saw first. I didn’t like how all the racism, elitism, slut shaming, and prejudice was left unaddressed unless Rachel was an object of it.

I gave it 3 star because although it was good enough to keep me from sleeping, the end was a bit disappointing.
The book is extremely entertaining and I loved that. But seriously? It ends in never ending monologue and some twist about one's past. Could have been better.

Insanely clever and well-written, full of well-developed and hilarious characters. Also, the constant talk of the amazing food you can get in Singapore nearly had me drooling. Reminds me a bit of The Nest.
