i feel like i'd like this one more if i read it instead of listened to it? plus it was at work so i was on and off distracted, but overall it had some good stories for folks who like interpersonal relationship stuff.

For anyone who liked Ottessa Moshfegh's Death In Her Hands, this is a good companion for it

The stories are charming, and odd. Maybe 3.5-4 stars in my mind, I enjoy the strangeness, there’s some genuine kindness and hopefulness in the pages as well. Could be accused of trying too hard in parts perhaps, or that could be a result of the translation. Unsure. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick, offbeat read!
