Feyre says she will never lie or leave without letting everyone know...immediately leaves to get the mirror alone and no one cares.
Amren says when she turns into her old self she won't remember anyone...yet she only kills the enemy.
Their deadbeat dad suddenly turns nice with NO character development.
They just happen to be able to repair the cauldron without knowing how???
.....but I still couldn't put it down.

I forgot to review this, so here's what I remember of the book. I mostly liked it. However, the scene where Rhysand died and Feyre made them revive him , just kind of pissed me off. If you want to kill a character, I'm all for that. But make it mean something and don't just revive them right away because what was the point of that??? This series is what got me back into reading, so I give it props for that, and I ate it up, but... There were definitely parts that could have been better.
It was amazing. The last 200 pages had me literally gasping at every page turn - it was insane!

Like with all the books in this series, the writing is not great and the dialogue is kinda trash, but the plot keeps me obsessed. She is no Brandon Sanderson or Robert Jordan, but the less complex world and writing is a nice reprieve and makes this book fun to read. The twists and turns constantly caught me off guard amd the morally grey characters result in a lot of emotions to sort through. The book made me cry more times than any stormlight or WOT book ever did. Im not sure why people refer to this series as smut though. Maybe my mind is a ho, but 2 non vulgar, 3 paragraph sex scenes in a 700 page book does not a smutty book make.
