i genuinely ADORED this book. there was so much happening at once, but it all fits together so organically and nothing feels like it's there without a reason to be there*. i love gideon's entire character arc throughout the book, and his dynamic with the other characters. this was such a genuinely fun read. definitely up there with some of my favorite books of all time.
*besides maybe maggie's whole soccer team cult thing, but i feel like that was more for the sake of giving more dimension to the whole oswald + mytality thing
