MMC chooses to break up with the FMC as a teenager so she "won't ruin her life" when he's drafted instead of just effing talking to her, and he says nasty horrible things so she'll believe it. He continues to play the victim because "it broke his heart" too, and hardly makes up for it with a simple apology 14 whole years later (and refuses to explain his reasons) when he manipulates the FMC's job and life to push and push her into forgiving him. He's been sleeping with "hundreds of women" in that time, yet she's supposedly always been the one and he knew he'd get her back eventually (so then why are you sleeping around?), AND he has the audacity to be angry with her for having been married in that time instead of reading his mind and waiting for him to be ready to come back to her. Yikes, that's a hard no for me.

Star light star bright! I throughly enjoyed this book! Jupiter was side character that need a main book! Boy he did he make his entrance! His love Marine has never wavered in the years apart now that they have their second chance they will make it! Must read! Thank you for the arc!

JUPITER REEVES IS THE NEW BOOK BOYFRIEND STANDARD!!! Y’all, if you are looking for a sports romance with a good story line, personable characters, and lots of spice, then you need to read this book!!! I was laughing out loud some moments, tearing up at the break-ups, and giggling at all the spice
