This book had decent angst, but I would have loved more of it. I think Marnie kept giving in too quickly to Jupiter. Call me petty, but I would have made him work for it harder.
I did enjoy seeing the friendship blossom between Marnie, Beulah, and Lowe.
My favorite part was Jupiter’s desperation towards the end. His noticing that Marnie wasn’t holding his hand in the car. And especially when he finally broke down and asked Marnie why she hadn’t said “I love you.”

Best book from Lulu yet. This was a hit out of the park! A must read. I have loved reading the previous books Lulu wrote because in a few of the books she has written about Jupiter, I couldn’t wait to read his story and I wasn’t disappointed!
So this was my first book that I’ve read by Lulu & it absolutely will not be my last! I love a good second chance romance & this one was done so so well.
Ummm Jupiter…. Yes. Please.

I met Jasper in the hockey series, and his book did not disappoint. I loved that he never let go of his feelings for the heroine. He loved her HARD, even when they were younger, even if he made a foolish decision that affected both of them.
I’ve been a fan of hockey romances for awhile now, and Lulu Moore does them RIGHT! But with the introduction to Jupiter in Drew’s book, I could not wait to have a whole book of our favorite moody baseball player! His life long love for baseball and his add life long love for his high school girlfriend make this second chance romance perfect!
Absolutely LOVED this book. The tidbits that flashed back to young Jupiter and Marnie were some of my favorite moments. I also loved how Marnie became one of the family on the baseball team and has her own girl gang. Jupiter's obsession with her is perfectly written :-) LOVED IT!!
Here are the words I would use to describe this book:

I could honestly keep going because this book was everything I hoped it would be and more. Jupiter and Marnie were the couple I have been hoping to read about, their second chance was just amazing to read and I loved every second of it.
Jupiter was hot, funny and so so swoon worthy that I found myself giggling like a school girl with a crush. Marnie was one of my favorite fmcs for a number of reasons but her overall persona was just so fun to read. I loved their connection and their banter. They were without a doubt soulmates.
The tattoos got me. The grand gesture at the end got me. The pining got me. Truly everything about this book was perfect to me, zero criticisms are allowed. The reason for their breakup was all teenager of them however it made sense, I was not annoyed like I sometimes can find myself with second chance romances.
Very excited for this series to continue, I thought the world building in this was done very well without feeling like the romance fell second. Excited to go and read Lulu Moore's backlog now because her writing is some of the best I have read. Also I found the smut hot as hell and was lowkey blushing lmao. Could not recommend this book enough, my favorite baseball romance for sure.
