Toxic lesbians? Sign me up!
But in all seriousness, I loved reading this book. It was gripping, I also felt like I was losing my mind as Gyre lost her grip on reality, and some bits of the book were genuinely soooooo freaky. And at the center of this story, the obsessive tether between Em and Gyre had me feeling deranged in the best sort or way.

Adored it. If you liked The Descent but felt it needed to both scarier and gayer, this is IT.

I found this book to be very frustrating & dissatisfying. The ENTIRE plot is conveyed via endless dialogue between the same two characters, which I found to be absolutely maddening.
That being said, the most glaring issue I had with trying to immerse myself into this novel is the utter monotony. Regardless of whether I open the book to page 40 or 400, I can barely discern any significant development in the plot or the characters.
Get to the point, I beg of you.
