Funny and cringe - I know that was the whole point. Full of puns and euphemisms that made me roll my eyes and definitely laugh. Read for a good time, but know it's meant to be cheesy

📖 My Thoughts
This short novella is a perfect palate cleanser after reading Vee's heavier reads. The humor in this book is full of puns and double meaning. I found the characters endearing in their own insecurities. I love that they are not perfect and human. Highly recommend you read this if you want a sweet creamy morsel.

🌶️ Spice
Willie is self conscious about the size of his mini me. Sugar needs someone that just takes care of her and doesn't have a huge… ego….. their spice scenes are perfect and sprinkled with humor.
Loved every bit of it.

This was a fun small-town romance novella with some very unique kinks.
A disclaimer: I knew this was going to be full of puns and be light-hearted. But to be honest, it just wasn’t good. It wasn’t even just puns; it was over dramatic euphemisms every other sentence. For me it entirely took away from the entire book and diminished the spice to something I wish I could skip.
The spice was okay, it was nothing remarkable. For this novella being marketed with a lactation kink it was a shame that it only occurred at the last 10% of the book. If I had known that before reading it the chances, are I most likely would have not picked it up.
I liked the characters even with the obnoxious puns and euphemisms. They were sweet individually and together it was tooth-achingly adorable. I only wish that there was more of a realistic bakery aspect put into the plot.

Cringey as f*ck, hilariously unhinged, and yet somehow… oddly sweet? I am speechless. Mostly because I would just laugh like a maniac randomly and my husband kept giving me that look - you know, the one that says, “Are you okay?”

From Sugar casually dropping her past “bombs” like it’s no big deal to Willy and his wee trauma from his first time (poor guy), these two are clearly a BATCH made in heaven. The puns were flying so fast I couldn’t keep up, and I found myself wondering when the true

“Hilariously Cringey” - but in a good way.
I couldn’t put it down. I laughed, a lot.
It’s the perfect story to solidify that there is someone for everyone.

Vee Taylor never disappoints in writing a great story, and this novella was no different.
