An unplanned re-read for me. I had forgotten I read this one years ago. Though I quickly remembered it and felt the same feelings towards it on the repeat read. An easy and very quick book but lacked a bit of oomph to me. I liked the characters and the plot was enjoyable enough. The banter and spice was really good and the emotional beats hit too. However, something just didn't quiet push it into a more stand out experience.
