It’s so easy to fall in love with Hannah and Garrett. What starts off as two people being somewhat strangers to each other to a tutor/tutoree (?) relationship turned into a real friendship.
“What, you two are friends now? She teases.
I falter. It’s on the tip of my tongue to voice a denial, but it feels wrong when I remember I spent the past two hours confiding in Garrett about my issues with Cass and then serenading him like a frickin’ troubadour. And honestly, as insufferable as he is at times, Garrett Graham isn’t as bad as I thought he was.
So I offer a rueful grin and say, “Yeah. I guess we are.”
Something’s happening to me. I can’t stop kissing him. He’s too addictive. And even though this might have started with me somewhat in charge, I’m no longer in control.
But then Garrett reaches up and strokes my cheek with infinite tenderness, and something inside me cracks open.
I let out a shaky breath. “I’m broken, and I wanted you to fix me.”
“Why would you want that?” I bite my lip harder. “You’re all one-track about hockey, remember? And besides, we argue too much.”
“We don’t argue. We bicker.”
“It’s the same thing.”
He rolls his eyes. “No, it’s not. Bickering is fun and good-natured. Arguing is—“
“Oh my God, we’re arguing about the way we argue!” I interrupt, unable to stop from laughing.
3 spice (🌶🌶🌶) = solid love scene, around two - four scenes in a standard length book, the use of vulgar terms to explain *parts*. the desire goes hand in hand with the love and romance between the characters

To anyone that is upset at the author writing her male characters the way she did should never date a college, male athlete…these characters were much tamer and kinder than any that I dated in college, just saying!

Overall a great read, just wish I would have done research to prepare myself of the above mentions throughout the book.

Finished the book in a day and I can only say that I'm in love with Garrett Graham.
I don't really have much to say about the plot since I don't think there was much to it but I kind of liked how the author just put the info in there without beating around the bush. I loved Hannah and Garrett's dynamic though I feel a bit sorry we didn't get much of the side characters and Garrett's passion for hockey and Hannah's one for music. Even though the boys are going to get their books, I hoped to see more of them during the reading. It didn't feel like they randomly jumped in there and when they appeared they fitted just right without feeling forced.
Either way, four stars! It's not really my type of book but I really enjoyed it.
(btw the content warnings have nothing have nothing to do with the main characters relationship it's about their relationship with other people so don't worry about reading it.)

You don’t need it. Hell, I don’t think you need Cass.” He shakes his head in amazement. “Your voice is…fuck, Wellsy, it’s beautiful.”/“You won’t let anything bad happen to me, will you, Garrett?”“Never.”/“Hey, come on, don’t cry,” he begs. “It breaks my fucking heart to hear you cry.”/“I’m broken.”My voice is muffled against his neck, but I hear his voice loud and clear as he says, “You’re not broken, baby. I promise.”/But right now, all I want is for this girl to smile at me again./I kiss her hard, losing myself in her taste and her heat and every damn thing about her. I never expected her. How you went about your day and hung out with your friends and fucked other people without having this one important person in your life./I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want this girl. When I wasn’t fucking desperate for her./“Baby, I could watch you watching paint dry, and I still wouldn’t be bored.”/Garrett Graham, my own personal sweet-talker./.I want to kiss her all night, for the rest of my fucking life, but I haven’t forgotten where we are at the moment./“You’re lucky I love you,” I warn her. “Because I wouldn’t stand for it otherwise.”Hannah grins. “You’re lucky I love you. Because you’re a total asshole and there aren’t a lot of girls who’d put up with it.”She’s probably right about the asshole thing. She’s definitely right about the lucky part.
