I thought the main couple was really cute and I loved the way Garrett was able to find ways to help Hannah restore her trust in people through him and his diligence towards her. I thought that was so sweet.
I got the ick a few times with the dialogue, but mostly at the beginning. After a while it felt more and more on brand, but that is the only reason this book ended up being a 4.5⭐️ read rather than a 5. They truly are a couple you root for and it’s pretty steamy on their road to finally getting together.
There are definitely some trigger warnings so just check those before diving in, because they are also prevalent themes throughout the book.
