There was a lot of characters to remember, and figure out how they all are intertwined.
The ending was a complete surprise and a wonderful read, but (spoilers) who ends up alive and who ends up dead was too predictable (end spoilers).
The book was a good mystery and there was a twist in the end that wasn't predictable. I like books that are not predictable so that I can get lost in the story and find things out when the characters do.

Has same characters as Hour Game, good mystery with twists until the very end
A fast and suspenseful read, this book is definitely a page-turner. The plot is exciting and keeps you on your toes with excellent character development and a fun surprise ending.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were wonderful and I will read the next one.
It was ok, a bit far-fetched, but that's the genre. I'd read more of him I guess.
I wanted to like it but it became more and more boring and well before the end, I just couldn't care less.
adventurous

It took until the very end of the book for the mystery to be solved, would’ve been nice to have more of an epilogue. Lots of characters to keep track of so was a little hard to follow in that regard when book describes possible motivation scenarios.
An excellent start to a series!! Sean King is a former Secret Service agent, his protectee was killed on his watch eight years ago, ending his career. Michelle King is a current Secret Service agent whose protectee was kidnapped on her watch. She's been taken off the case, of course, but can't sit idle, so decides to investigate on her own. Other events take place, other bodies turn up, maybe connected, maybe not. Is it possible that Michelle's missing guy is connected to Sean's assassinated guy? They start to work together to try and figure it out. It's pretty action packed with great chemistry between all the characters. Many clues but nothing is clear or certain; just when you think you've got it, you find out you most certainly do not. I recommend to anyone who loves a great mystery who-dun-it type. I will continue with the series for sure.
