Read all twelve short stories in a couple sittings, enjoyed most of them. Favourites were Miss Marple's Christmas and Murder at the Villa Rosa.

I thought these little mysteries were very fun, but it did make me realizes that my favorite part of a mystery is the build-up where you get to know the characters and start suspecting people. These moved a little too quickly for that, which I totally get. I just think they're not my style. But the writing was good!

Really nice to read different authors' takes on the eponymous Miss Marple. Lovely to see some diversity too - in both the authors and the characters in the stories. I particularly enjoyed the stories by Jean Kwok, Natalie Haynes and Dreda Say Mitchell, but all of them were really well-written and true to the charater of Jane Marple. A definite 'recommended read' for Agatha Christie fans!

Some of the stories were great! Some were not good. Others were ... fine. I think some of these were too short to truly build up a thick plot. Some of them depend on you being familiar with a particular story in the past, which made it difficult to drop in with no previous knowledge.
