This started so strong: one woman wakes up alone on a cruise ship with no crew, no passengers, no one. The eerie setup was brilliant and had me hooked.
But then came random characters, a dragged-out backstory, and finally the big “twist”… it’s all a game show with survival challenges. Honestly, that killed it for me. I didn’t want Survivor at Sea, I wanted the creepy mystery I signed up for.
Really gutted because the premise was amazing, but it lost me completely.

Mixed feelings about this one…
Yes it was a gripping page turner, I wanted to know what happened and I flew through it quickly so I suppose that’s a good thing but also on equal measure it was very infuriating at points and the tacked on ending I felt was completely unnecessary and annoying
2stars? 2.5 stars? I read it fast but I don’t think it was worth my time.
This book was so hyped up to me but was a big letdown and pretty mediocre :/
