I absolutely love this world that Adrienne Young has created. The series starts with Fable, and I definitely recommend starting there and coming back to Saint later.

The world of the Narrows and the Unnamed Sea is so beautiful and ruthless at the same time. I couldn't imagine living in such a world. But she paints such a wonderful image of it.

I don't want to go into too much detail since this isn't the first book, but the gist of it is that we get to see where Saint and Clove started their enterprise. Also, we get to meet and experience Isolde and how she found her way to the Narrows.

If you love anything nautical, this book is one to read! It's a YA Fantasy, but doesn't have your typical YA clichés. I can't remember any cursing and there are no intimate scenes (although there is a little romance).

I recommend this series all the time! It's one of my favorites!

I really enjoyed this book! I’m not sure it was an entirely necessary edition, but it still filled in some gaps on some of the characters that were present in Fable. Once again, really beautifully written, and overall I liked this book!

I really enjoyed this prequel to the series. A little heart breaking to know how certain things turn out, but overall really enjoyable. Adrienne Young is an amazing YA author, which is saying something, because I can't seem to stomach YA these days.

Love this! I could read several more books into the stories of these characters!
