Wow, that was really great! The story progresses very nicely, there's a lot of good characters and information that comes through from the Fable duology. Sometimes I ask myself when I prequel comes out "is it going to fit with the main books? Is it gonna be good? Is it necessary?" And while the answer to necessary is very subjective cause is anything every really necessary? lol but this prequel really does fit with the duology and was a good addition to the world. It never dragged. It felt true to the characters. And it had real feeling and emotion to it. A+ prequel. I fell in love with Isolde and Saints story just as much as Fable and West's. Omg and is there ever a gasp worthy moment the very end!! I would 100% reread this book after rereading the duology again, or even read this again but first just to see if it changes the feeling.
