Not sure what I can say other than I really didn’t enjoy this as much as I thought I would. The characters weren’t up to scratch for the kind of story it was trying to tell and I much preferred Alex over Cole

I really expected more from this book. Like come on! The poor girl's whole family dies and still there is absolutely no depth to the story. She doesn't have any personality at all. I mean I've eaten pizza that had more personality than Jackie. Also, I didn't really find all of the characters necessary. Does the Walter family need to be so freaking huge? Most of the siblings/cousins didn't serve any deeper meaning in the story. If you're looking for a relaxing read that you don't have to think about, this is perfect. If you want your books deeper than a half a cup of espresso, this is not for you.

Liked the book. Wishing for book 2 but knowing there might never be one.

I’m not to sure I enjoyed this book as much as I thought I would. I struggled to really get into the book. It was a light read, but most of the characters were not relatable at all. I couldn’t empathize with any of the characters and some of them were missing a component of emotion considering their situation. I feel like if the characters were more developed, I would have enjoyed this book much more.

I enjoyed the aspect of the big family, but some of the characters were jerks and it was not okay.

The way
SpoilerCole
treated her was awful (and
SpoilerAlex
wasn't much better). Red flags, girl. Red flags. And then
Spoilershe winds up with Cole in the end
? If Jackie were my friend, we'd be having a very important conversation about not dating guys who don't treat us right. This could have been a cute story, but the
Spoilersucky guys she was into
kind of ruined it for me.

Rating: PG-13 for language and suggestive content. As far as sexual content, nothing more than kissing, but lots of suggestive and inappropriate comments and actions from the guys.
