i’d give it 1 star but i did enjoy myself a little while reading it once i got past the absolute shit writing and the even worse dialogue

I had seen that this was on Netflix so I thought I’d read it before watching. If this was the first book in a series, I’d actually have rated it higher because I felt like just enough of each character had been introduced to really delve into each character more in depth in future books. As a stand alone though, I’m not sure it really felt complete. On Goodreads, it said this was number one in a series, but I can’t find any information about sequels. So maybe the TV show will be better since it looks like a second season has been ordered?

Very nostalgic bc I read this on wattpad forever ago. The ending was cute but I wish she would’ve dated someone else other than the brother of the dude she actually ends up with. The ending kinda doesn’t leave me with any closure either and I think she could’ve done an epilogue since the second book has never happened. Anyway so glad I own a physical copy of a book that I enjoyed so much as a teenager:)))
